UHK keycaps and replacement sets

Keycap profile

We use OEM profile keycaps, so each row is angled.

Keycaps of the same width and angle can be exchanged. There's a standard homing bump on the F and J keys to help touch typists locate them without looking, which might make them unsuitable for replacement.

Non-standard keycaps

The rightmost keys on the alphanumeric region of UHKs are 0.5U shorter than the standard. This is to make UHKs as compact as possible and increase the symmetry of the keyboard halves.

Given the above, most keycap sets available on the market won't fit the rightmost keys. Still, almost all keys can be purchased individually from the market, except for the R1 1.5U, the R4X 1.75U, and the R5L low-profile keycaps, which are non-standard.

Keycap material

We provide double-shot backlight-friendly PBT keycaps with all of our products.

Keycap color

We only provide black keycaps and don't plan to provide other keycap colors.
