Thanks for the kind words, Theo! :)

The switch may be perfect; you just have to remove it, bend its pins slightly to make contact with its sockets, and put it back. If the issue persists, only a replacement switch can help, which you can buy from our webshop or other sellers.

Hi László,

thanks for the quick answer :) Great to hear you are planning on offering a longer cable. For now I bought a 1,5m hama cable which works great so far (although its not quite as nice as the original uhk cable).

I used the UHK on a daily basis the last couple of days and I have to say it is really amazing! I also absolutely love how the mouse layer works and agent is by far the best software for configuring a keyboard I have encountered.
However I have one minor issue: one of the switches seems to sometimes fail. Is there anything I could do about that? For now I will try to move it to a key I don't use as often and switch these two switches. Hope that that will help.

It may not ever be OK for your shoulder width, but the cable certainly stretches out after a while and eases up on its pull.

So glad to hear you got your UHK and you're happy with it, Theo!

Does this knowledgebase query answer your question? We plan to provide a longer bridge cable this year.

Hi László,

thanks for the response. Today my UHK finally arrived and I am super happy!
However I have one little gripe with it and maybe you can give me a hint on how to fix it:

The cable connection both halves of the keyboard is rather short. I like to split the keyboard in a way that fits my shoulders.
It does work, if I put a huge mouse pad below the keyboard. Otherwise both halves are drifting on the table, because of the strong pull of the keyboard.
Is there a good longer third party alternative you would recommend, that is compatible with the UHK?
I read that there are aftermarket cables available, however they might fail when flashing the firmware.

Apart from that the UHK is absolutely amazing.

Thanks

Hi Theo! This year, we plan to implement per-key adjustable RGB in Agent and the firmware. Thanks for your patience!

Hey folks,

I am still waiting patiently for my UHK to arrive. Meanwhile I was wondering if there is a timeframe when we can expect rgb per key in the agent + firmware?
Is this something that has to be solely implemented inside agent or has the firmware also to be adjusted?

Thanks in advance :)
